My mom, Peggie, started Tied in Knots in the mid to late 80s, doing mainly macrame lawn chairs. I accompanied her and helped to make certain items when I was small. I used to go to her physical store front almost every day with her until I hit school age. She continued to grow Tied in Knots until 1992 when an ongoing family emergency came up and she was forced to close the company completely by late 1992 to early 1993. After her death in 2021, I started making macrame lawn chairs to deal with my grief and my PTSD. Macrame and plastic canvas have become a form of therapy and now I sell a lot of my creations online. Welcome to my store.
